The Málaga dancer, holder of Spain’s National Dance Prize for 2010, debuts her new work “Danzaora” within the program of the Gira del Norte 2011.
According to Ana Olabarría, the term “danzaora” was born of the need to define the expression of a new idiom within the universe flamenco and Spanish dance of Rocío Molina. It’s not only the title of a show, but a personal language capable of integrating a diversity of dance styles such as flamenco dance, classic Spanish dance, ballet, bolero and folk, not to be confused with modern dance.
With guitarists EDUARDO TRASSIERRA, singer JOSÉ ANGEL CARMONA and the compás of ORUCO.
Thursday-7-APRIL – 9:00pm – Teatro Bretón in Logroño
