Once
again this year the month of June bring the flamenco festival of Arahal
with which the town pays tribute to the great Pastora Pavón “Niña
de los Peines” whose roots are here where the only flamenco club
named after her is situated.
This third edition is the definitive consolidation and the festival aspires
to become a obligatory reference for flamenco festivals with an offering
that includes various days of activities, live shows in an out-door theater
ambience, parallel activities, exhibitions, etc…
One high point will be a round-table discussion to honor guitarist Niño
Ricardo on the centennial of this birth. On Saturday June 26th a bronze
bust of Pastora Pavón “Niña de los Peines” will
be inaugurated
