Tuesday, June 4th. “Obsolete textile professions: the Spanish shawl and the mantilla”. María José Sánchez Espinar, with designer Montesco and journalist Lorena Codes, who will explain the importance of these accessories in flamenco, and in the work of Julio Romero de Torres.

Advance ticket sales at box-office and at the Museum’s webpage www.carmenthyssenmalaga.org.  The series is 35 euros and includes free entrance to the temporary exposition “Julio Romero de Torres, Entre el Mito y la Tradición” from 9:15pm.  A glass of Málaga Virgen wine will be served.

Talk and guitar-playing in the salon
The talks will be on the 11th and 18th of June, and will be given by journalist and director of the series, Francis Mármol, with guitarists Carmelo de Carmen and Paco Aragón respectively.

Cinema and dialogue
Saturday, June 8th.
Projection in the museum’s auditorium of the full-length film “Blancanieves” which received 10 Goya prizes at the last awards ceremony for Spanish films.

The film will be shown at 7:00pm, and will be followed by dialogue with the film’s directory Pablo Berger, and the director of the Festival de Málaga, Cine Español, Juan Antonio Vigar.
