The Cátedra de Flamencología de Jerez has awarded the Critics' Choice Award to dancer Manuel Liñán for his show “Reversible“, which was presented February 26th at the Villamarta Theater, main venue of the 20th Festival de Jerez that ended on March 5th.  This recognition is backed up the majority of votes from accredited critics participating in the flamenco dance festival.

Other artists who received this recognition over the years are Rocío Molina (‘Oro viejo’, 2009), Joaquín Grilo (‘Leyenda personal’, 2010), Marco Flores (‘De flamencas’, 2012) and Isabel Bayón ('Caprichos del tiempo', 2013). Mercedes Ruiz received the prize on two occasions: in 2007, for 'Juncá', and in 2011 for 'Perspectivas'-
