The presentation took place Monday at the headquarters of the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.

The show “Dando el Cante” is included in the national tour organized by the Las Minas Flamenco Tour of the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas de la Unión, and its first stop will be in Madrid on October 30th, with the show to be performed at the capital's Auditorio del Círculo de Bellas Artes.

The act was presented by Julio García, director of the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas, Aurelio Solana, delegate for the Las Minas Flamenco Tour and Javier Limón, director of the Las Minas Flamenco Tour.

The show “Dando el Cante” of the Festival Internacional del Cante de Las Minas is unprecedented artistically, as it brings together winners and finalists of the Festival Internacional del Cante de Las Minas (FICM) in an event of flamenco singing, dance and guitar-playing.

On the stage of the Círculo de Bellas Artes Yolanda Osuna (dancer, twice finalist of the FICM, 2007 y 2014), Antonio Muñoz, (official guitarist of the FICM and winner of the Premio Bordón in 1989), Antonio Mejías (singer, winner of many prizes of the FICM and First Prize of the Concurso de Arte Flamenco de Córdoba), Eduardo Guerrero (dancer, winner of the Premio Desplante in 2013) and José Tomás Giménez (winner of the Bordón prize in 2014). The concert will be presented by the well-known journalist Juan Ramón Lucas.

 

Tickets, at 27 euros (21 euros for members), are on sale at the webpage of the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid.

The national presentation of the project took place on October 8th at the Teatro Romea in Murcia where it was very well-received.  The Las Minas Flamenco Tour has scheduled performances in New York, India and China.  The objective is to do a world tour including, of course, Spanish cities as well.
