Under the auspices of the Ciclo in this first year of the designation of flamenco as a Cultural World Heritage, various parallel activities will be held such as formative workshops, conferences and round-table discussions to analyze the current flamenco scene in Catalonia, and the importance of this art-form in Catalonian territory over recent decades.  This program of activities, which makes up the educational branch of the Ciclo, also aims to acquaint audiences with new artists, as well as highlight the promotional work of this genre as carried out by numerous Andalusian cultural entities that exist throughout Catalonia.
