The “Pilarica”,
Hispanic Day, Columbus day…throughout the Spanish-speaking world, and
much of the English-speaking one, October 12th is a day of celebration.
This year in Monterrey, México, an important flamenco festival
is planned with some of Spain’s most noteworthy stars such as dancers
Rafael Campallo and Andrés Marín, guitarist José
Antonio Rodríguez and Ana Salazar with her songs in tribute to
Edith Piaf. The first day of the festival is devoted to México’s
most important flamenco artists.
