Paco de Lucía’s tour continues on schedule despite a small setback

Despite some problems with US authorities regarding the visa for Alain Pérez who plays bass for Paco de Lucía's group which just began its tour of the country, and the resulting cancellation of three concerts which has just been announced, Paco's manager assures us the tour is going forward as planned. It is not yet known if the cancelled concerts can be recuperated. The possibility of beginning the tour without the bass-player is being considered, but it is hoped that a solution will soon be found so Alain may enter the country.

We
have also received the dates that have so far been confirmed for the tour
of Spain, through to July, although last minute changes are possible.
The route begins on May 4th in Barcelona and includes important northern
capitals as well as the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Andalusia, the
east coast and the Pyrenees…no one has to go without enjoying the maestro’s
music.
