The
song «Burbujas de Amor», one of Juan Luis Guerra’s biggest
hits, is the first single on «Joyas Prestadas», Niña
Pastori’s new album.

On this record, the sixth by the singer from San Fernando (Cádiz),
we hear songs made famous by Joan Manuel Serrat, Alejandro Sanz, Maná,
Juan Luis Guerra, Antonio Machín, Manolo García, Luz Casal,
Armando Manzanero, Los Jeros and Marifé de Triana.

Niña Pastori, a performer who at 16 delighted us all in 1995 with
her «Tú me Camelas» and has managed to maintain her
popularity with dignity thanks to records like «Eres luz» (1998),
Cañaílla (2000), «María» (2002) and «No
hay quinto malo» (2004), now returns to show her voice is above styles
and genres in her latest recording «Joyas Prestadas» and songs
such as 'Mediterráneo', 'Cuando nadie me ve', 'Vivir sin aire',
'Burbujas de amor', 'Angelitos negros', 'Pájaros de barro', 'Lo
eres todo', 'Todavía', 'Hoy igual que ayer' and 'María de
la O'.

«I wanted to sing everything and the choice of songs was very difficult,
it drove me crazy» says Pastori. «These are the ones that
best adapted to my way of singing, taking into account the melodies I
liked best, and the verses were important too».

The production of «Joyas Prestadas» was overseen by Nacho
Mañó and Chaboli, and musicians who participated in the
recording are Josemi Carmona and Diego Moreno (guitar), Nacho Mañó
and Antonio Ramos «Maka» (bass), José María
Cortina and Santi Navalón (keyboard), Chaboli (percussion), Angie
Bao (drums) and Antonio Serrano (harmonica).
