Viernes flamenco de Jerez

For the tenth consecutive
year, at the outdoor stage of the Cine Astoria in Jerez de la Frontera,
the Viernes Flamenco cycle is scheduled for the month of August. For for
Fridays the shows will continue in the tradition of combining veteran
artists and newcomers in a program of traditional flamenco.
On August 4th the series opens with Alberto Sánchez “El
Almendro” and Joaquín “El Zambo” with the guitar
of Fernando Moreno, in addition to the group of Jessica Brea. The veteran
performer in this case is the wonderful singer from Cádiz, Mariana
Cornejo.
The night of August 18th singers Antonio Reyes, Ezequiel Benítez
and Felipa del Moreno with Pascual de Lorca on guitar and Saray García
and her group are scheduled.
The series closes on Friday the 25th with the cante of Fernando de la
Morena and Luis Moneo with Gema la Cantarrota, the dance of Estefanía
Aranda and the guitar of Domingo Rubichi.
All the shows begin at 10 P.M. and tickets are 7 euros.
