«Flamencas por el Mundo», of Javier Caró

The exhibit «Habitantes del Flamenco» aims to capture the universality of flamenco through 18 photographs of singers and dancers from various continents.

Throughout the month of May, photographer Javier Caró will exhibit 18 snapshots which, with the title “Habitantes del Flamenco”, has the objective of showing the universal quality of flamenco via the relationship several dancers and singers from outside Spain have with this artform.  Images that mix reality and fantasy to create a compact natural whole, and which reflect and preserve the artists’ individual personalities, bringing them together under the all-encompassing flamenco umbrella.

The show, which includes color photographs in a variety of formats, opens May 2nd at 6:30pm, and can be visited through May 30th at the Centro Cultural Cajasol in Seville, on Laraña Street, no. 4.
