If 2003 was the year of Farruquito who just last week won the Flamenco Hoy prize for best male flamenco dancer, it seems that the present year continues to belong to him as well. He already has performances scheduled in England, Japan, Italy and France among other countries, and of course fellow-Spaniards will have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the art of the young maestro whose show “Alma Vieja” based on the history of the Farruco dynasty of dancers has been acclaimed everywhere it has been presented.
