Eleven finalists have been chosen to compete for prizes at the twentieth Concurso Nacional de Arte Flamenco de Córdoba

The twentieth edition of the Cordoba flamenco contest has its finalists in singing, guitar and dance.

The initial selection from among 117 aspirants has been made public.

In flamenco singing, the jury, made up of singers Antonio Fernández Díaz “Fosforito”, Manuel Moreno Maya “El Pele” and Mayte Martín, has unanimously agreed upon the following finalists:

•    Tamara Aguilera Garamendi, TAMARA AGUILERA (La Puebla del Río, Sevilla, 1989)
•    Eva María de Dios Moreno, EVA DE DIOS (Córdoba, 1977)
•    Manuel Domínguez Gallardo, MANUEL CÁSTULO (Sevilla, 1970)
•    Pedro Heredia Reyes, PEDRO EL GRANAÍNO (Granada, 1973)

 

In guitar, the jury composed of Manolo Sanlúcar, Serranito and Manolo Franco selected three finalists:

•    Javier Conde Santos, JAVIER CONDE (Cáceres, 1988)
•    Santiago Lara Puerto, SANTIAGO LARA (Sevilla, 1984)
•    Severiano Jiménez Flores, NIÑO SEVE (Córdoba, 1982)

The dance jury of José Antonio, Merche Esmeralda and Javier Barón chose the following individuals to compete in the final phase:

•    Emilio José Ramírez Sánchez, EMILIO RAMÍREZ (Sevilla, 1985)
•    Mercedes Ruiz Muñoz, MERCEDES DE CÓRDOBA (Córdoba, 1980)
•    Ana Gómez Torcuatro, ANA CALÍ (Granada, 1977)
•    Jesús Carmona Moreno, JESÚS CARMONA (Barcelona, 1985)

The finals will be held at the Gran Teatro at 8:30 pm, from Saturday November 23rd to Tuesday the 26th, when the finalists will compete in the three categories of singing, dance and guitar.
