The festival will take place July 1st to 6th with a program of flamenco dance, singing and guitar-playing recitals.
Between July 1st and 6th a varied program of flamenco recitals, in addition to parallel activities that includes exhibits, lectures, courses and workshops will turn the French city into an extenstion of Andalusia and its culture. Backed by Spanish institutions, the objective of the event is to reinforce the internationalization of flamenco and the Andalusian identity.
This edition has a special program with four works produced by the organization under the name “Arte Flamenco no. 25”. The opening gala on July 1st is Utupia by Seville dancer Maria Pages. Other participating artists are Diego del Morao, Fuensanta la Moneta, Mercedes Ruiz, Arcangel with Esperanza Fernandez, Jose Valencia and Pedro el Granaino, Dorantes with Diego Amador, Tomatito and Farruquito with Karime Amaya among others.
